The Most Wanted List: International Terrorism

During periods of desperation, people often make hasty choices, and this is now such a period, but not a time for hasty decisions.

May Nader run if it's what he wishes to do!

Anyone opposed to it and using this to trying to tell others whether or not they can, or not, vote for him is just another pointy-headed pion fascist dictator wannabe. And they only deserve to be told this, that they're taking the anti-[democracy] position.

I don't know anything about his campaign yet, and wonder if he's teaming up with Cynthia McKinney. I don't know why he wouldn't choose to do so, for she's a good candidate as far as I'm aware, and he's run for the Green Party before; although they burned him "good" last time. Not all supporters of the GP went along with that bad decision of the GP pointy-headed-bosses, PHBs, though.

The AIS Women's Team Diary 2003

The 2003 edition of Tour de l'Aude has finished and the A.I.S. Australian team has come through unscathed and smiling! Lorian Graham, Emma James, Christine Riakos, Emily Williams, Alison Wright (the ring-in from Road Runner) and I arrived back in Novellara, Italy on Monday night after a windy, wet and long drive home.

I have already given you a run down on the first few stages and won't bore you with the details of races long-finished, but there are some highlights from the remainder of the tour that need to be shared.

The Lynch effect has Autonomy bubbling up

On Friday, the company will update the market and investors are expecting even more good news.

It is the leader in a rapidly growing market offering companies technology to search and archive unstructured data - the "human-friendly" information locked in formats such as e-mails, voicemail, and video footage, rather than the more easily searchable databases of the past.

Last year, Autonomy added Boeing, Shell, Oracle and News Corporation to an already impressive client list.

Analysts now rave about the company. Almost half the houses covering it rate the shares a strong buy despite their sky-high multiple of almost 50 times next year's earnings.

It was not always thus.

Autonomy was one of the poster-children of both the dotcom boom and bust.

Dan Rather Backs 'Outstanding' NYT Journos on McCain Hit Piece

The idea of appearing on television, radio or print I have no interest in at all. I have turned down offers as I like anonymous and have nothing to prove.

It is all kind of sad when you think of Dan Rather shilling on Chris Matthews, because his nowhere cable network went tits up. He still grabs for the light when he should be grabbing for God's Light.

Normal people just like to fade away from the world and are content to do it.......others like Dan Rather are addicts feeding low self esteem.

I would wager when President Bush leaves office it will be about the last time the world sees of him as he likes being a guy. His old man only showed up for the kids........there is vast difference between Bush and Rather.

Dan Rather like Bill Clinton should have quit when they were ahead.......now they are quit upon and looking like the old actress looking for her close up.

Motorists should watch for traffic controls. The detour is expected to last through the summer.

The Las Vegas public works department announced that gas line work being done on Durango Drive between Tropical Parkway and Centennial Parkway should wrap up by March 25. Road work being done at the intersection of Eastern Avenue and Bonanza Road should be done by Saturday.

Beth Anderson, London, writes

We are booked to travel to Kenya on January 27 and don't know whether to cancel in the light of the Foreign Office's travel advisory against all but essential travel. We won't be going near any of the trouble spots as we will be flying on to Lamu Island within a few hours of arriving in Nairobi - and from the same airport.
